The following are some guidelines to help you use the Search function as effectively as possible:

• This search function acknowledges only the search words themselves, without consideration of the following:

• Quotation marks

• Parenthesis

• Punctuation

• Capitalization

• Operators such as AND, NOT, (+), (-), etc.

• Use spaces between each search word

• If your search returns too many results, try adding a word or letter(s) to your original query to narrow your search parameters (e.g. add s to regulation to include only documents containing the word regulations, and not regulation)

• If your search returns no results, or too few results, try including only the root of the word you would like to search, without prefixes or suffixes (e.g. regulation may return more results than regulations)
